The first Wingz of Fun Airport Festival held at Entebbe botanical beach gardens on Saturday  drew only a handful of people.

The festival that is aimed at promoting domestic flights attracted various air operators but few revellers to partake in the day’s events.

Gates opened at 11am with fees of 25k ordinary, 40k couple, 50k VIP, 150k VVIP and Shs 1m for a table.  Despite low turn up, the day’s events went on as planned with volley ball matches between different companies, music mixes from Dj nelly and Dj pato and the nights MC Ov UG keeping the revellers entertained until 8: 10pm when the lights and music stopped all of a sudden.

Scoop got to learn that the organisers of the festival Doris events had not yet paid the people it had hired to make the event happen which included the decorators, sound and stage company ushers among others.

The sudden shutdown of the music forced revellers who were still waiting for the days big artiste singer Fille who was a no turn up to abandon the show and head home or other party avenues
