He was among the 12 musicians who participated in the Tubonga Naawe project, so this might come as a surprise to many. Last Saturday during Gravity Omutujju’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Chameleone shocked revellers when he switched some of the lyrics in his Sweet Banana song. He sang: “Tokwata ku constitution”, loosely translated as ‘Don’t touch the Constitution’, driving the already wild crowd wilder.
The singer, however later laughed it off and continued with his performance. What we do not understand if this was a mockery move, a test to the crowd or Chameleone actually is team #Tojikwatako, but we all know the nature of chameleons.
