He took the Kenyan Groove awards by storm and now Uganda’s leading gospel singer, Exodus, is spreading further after getting nominated in the Africa Gospel Music Awards 2012.
His video, I’m Walking, featuring Alemba has been nominated for Video of the year and Exodus has also been listed in the Best Artiste from East Africa category.
Myco Chris is the other Ugandan nominated in the awards, though the Zino Enaku singer is competing in the Artiste of the Year Europe category, and therefore not recognised as Ugandan. Exodus is expected to attend the awards ceremony scheduled to take place in London at the Golders Green Hippodrome on July 7. Meanwhile, the Igwe singer is also finalising plans to stage his first big concert in Uganda in the last quarter of the year.
