RUGBY GOLD CUP: Uganda vs Zimbabwe @ Legends The Rugby Cranes will take on Zimbabwe tomorrow in the Rugby Africa Gold Cup at Legends Rugby Grounds. Kick off at 4.30pm but gates will be open by noon. Entrance is 20k general, 30k VIP and 50k VVIP.   Thereafter, it is Ballistic Saturday with DJ Crim.
Babishai poetry festival @ Maisha gardens the third edition of the Babishai Poetry Festival happens tomorrow at Maisha Gardens featuring the best and brightest spoken word performers including Ghanaian poet Oswald Okaitei, as well as Rap Poet, Zoey the Storyteller and Kitaka Alex from Tontoma Poetry Jazz Sessions. Entrance is only Shs20,000

The Uganda Music Awards @ Serena Hotel The first edition of The Uganda Music Awards is on this evening at the Kampala Serena Hotel. The awards are meant to recognise outstanding musical art and performance from around the country. Entrance is 100k and 250k VIP. The red carpet event will start at 5.30pm and dress code is ‘Dress to Impress’:
Akadope @ the SquareIt’s the first Friday of the month so make your way to The Square in Industrial Area for Akadope. This event brings together a number of musicians who fuse their music styles. Entrance is 20k at Definition and 25k at the door.

Tropical Fish @ Goethe-Zentrum KampalaFresh from a performance at the AfriCologne Theatre Festival in Germany, Rehema Nanfuka, returns to perform the stage adaptation of Doreen Baingana’s award-winning short story, ‘Tropical Fish’. It’s about a young campus girl’s affair with an older white businessman in Kampala. For more details be at Goethe-Zentrum Kampala on Wednesday where entrance will be 10k. There will be a discussion afterwards with the writer and actor.
Just me, you and the silence @ Theater LabonitaWritten and directed by Lucy Judith Adong, the play ‘Just Me, You And The Silence’ will show at Theatre Labonita starting tonight and throughout this weekend. All shows start at 7.30pm and entrance is 20k and 10k students. Come learn and be entertained at the same time.

Abakazi Si Mere Concert @ Bat Valley TheaterSophie Gombya, Mariam Ndagire, Cindy Sanyu, Chance Nalubega and Annet Nandujja among others will tomorrow and Sunday be in a concert at Bat Valley Theater. This concert will also act as an awareness campaign on the dangerous impact of smoking, passive smoking and tobacco. Tickets cost only shs20,000 and the shows are 3pm and 7pm.
