Pages to pursue solo career

Pages

If you have ever watched Janzi band performing, there is a guy always on the microphone, singing covers as if he owns them. For this ‘exceptional talent’, Pages whose real name is Jimmy Lubwama, was chosen to be the lead singer of the band. But perhaps the band is limiting his ability, how else can one explain his dive for a solo career.
Pages has so far released his first single titled ‘Mwooli’, a smooth love RnB ballad that surely brings out the best of him.
The beauty about this is that the new artiste on the block knows how to write lyrics. On this particular project, he co-wrote the song with Hudson, who he also features. It was produced and recorded by Artin at M One Records.
This however does not mean Pages has left Janzi band. At least not yet as he still juggles both the band and his infant solo career.
He follows Jacinta who also decided to take a solo career path. Unlike Pages who is still with the band, Jacinta left and is now doing her own things.
Pages once surprised Bobi Wine at Zone 7 where they play from every Wednesday by performing his songs ‘Singa’, ‘Abalungi balumya’ and ‘Kigwa leero’. The new Kyadondo East Member of Parliament sat back in the chair, amused. We can only imagine what was going on in his head.
