Tariq and Maro
There is one thing about Ronald Magada aka Maro – he does not rush his things – he does music at his one pace. But we must say the guy is one lucky dude! At the beginning of the week, the self-proclaimed RnB Kyabazinga had something to smile about and that is his long awaited video, titled Kanyama.
You might be wondering why the Kanyama is a big deal but hey, infor reaching us is that the video was directed by Morocco Omari commonly known as Tariq for those who are fans of Empire, an American TV series. Tariq, who was in the country a few months ago, did not tell anyone about his intentions of visiting the banana republic but now we hear it had something to do with Maro.
Tariq on his visit had praised Maro’s music, and after his visit we hear the two moved to Washington DC for a short holiday and it was from there that Tariq heard Maro’s song Kanyama. He apparently liked it and offered to shoot the video. The two moved to New York, where they met video director Shabazz Ray.
The video has American actress and model Juss Ruby as the vixen and according to Maro, it was a lifetime opportunity. Looks like the Busoga gods are working!
