Ever since Irene Ntale left Swangz Avenue, we have still failed to establish if it is really true that Ntale left in good faith. To start with, Ntale’s first song titled Twelageko which she did after she left Swangz Avenue was rumoured to be attacking Swangz, although she refused to admit in one of the radio interviews with a local radio station. Also in an interview with the Observer last week, Vinka mentioned that by the time Ntale left Swangz, the two once-BFFs were not on talking terms.
At the end of last week, we also learnt about a song titled Towuliriza, loosely translated as ‘do not listen’. The song which was done by Black Skin, one of the Swangz Avenue’s upcoming acts is said to be directed at Ntale.
In the song, Black Skin blames the person of not being a good listener who leaves a good place to go and stay in a bad place thus telling the person to change her ways.
We did not manage to reach Black Skin to comment on the song but Producer Enock, who is behind the song, said:“It is just a song that is advising people who don’t listen to change their ways and start taking advice seriously.”
