Mr Swaggerific himself (Mr G)
Love or hate her, Sylvia Owori is always on top of her fashion game. She knows how to get her designs on the world stage. This time, it is Mr Swaggerific himself (Mr G), rocking an Owori T-shirt in his latest video Clean Everyday that features Beenie Man.
In the song, which is one of the hottest at the moment in Jamaica, the dancehall stars basically sing about being stylish and stepping out clean everyday in designer labels. Owori couldn’t ask for more as Mr G, flaunts her T-shirt that has the Uganda national symbol the Crested Crane on it as he sings about designer lables like Fendi, Armani and Cavalli that he wears everyday.
When contacted, Owori was elated at the development. “He came to my shop when they were hear for a show in December and purchased several of my designs. That particular T-shirt was tailored by women I’m empowering under my foundation Mukono,” Owori said.
“I have received a few orders for the T-shirt from Jamaica after Mr G wore it in the video. There is no better advertising I could ask for,” she said.
