This is a 2015 Christian movie about how a clergyman’s faith in Christ touches the lives of a medic, a scientist, lawyer and a homeless woman. What I like most about this movie is its relevance to today’s average person; Christian or not. All this is summed up in the lives of 12 people going through everyday challenges. There is a couple that has just lost their only child, a young nurse and her husband who are caught in a court case that risks ruining their lives. The movie kicks off with a pastor (Ted McGinley) whose faith is challenged by a street preacher (Delroy Lindo) when he asks him if he believes in God and what he has done about his faith. It is such a simple question that can keep you restless, especially if you know that your faith is without actions. It is good food for thought for all Christians.
Through these different lives, the movie shows that one can only be happy, fulfilled and free if they believe in Christ and that He died on the cross and rose, giving us new life. It is a compelling watch that will keep you glued on the screen. It is quite emotional as well. Amid a couple of tears, I could not help but confess again that I believe in God the father, the Holy Spirit and in Jesus Christ and that He conquered death and is coming back again. And that brings me to the question, do you believe?
