By the look of things Jackie Akello is stealing the show after turning the whole place down with cover songs like Jennifer Lopez’z ‘I aint your mama’, the late Michael Jackson’ Billie Jeans alongside Solomon and ‘Will you be there. She had earlier performed her own like ‘Tam, Anamaruwer, Yang, Wan Wilombo among others.

Despite many thinking that the 13th edition of Blankets and Wine would turn out to be a flop, the event actually surprised everyone when people started making their way to the museum at mid-day and as we write this, the event can best be termed as “Full house” unlike on the previous edition which was the 12th when they started coming in at 5pm. This could be attributed to a number of factors, One being that it’s the first major event after Ramadan and because it’s the fact that the last edition happened on a public holiday which was Easter Sunday.

More artistes still lined up are ‘Mo Roots, and Micasa, the headliners of the show and probably the main reason why all these people came for the show.
