On breaking off from Theatre Factory, a group of youthful comedians formed Fun Factory. The comedians went ahead to stage comedy shows at the Pan World parking lot along Dewinton Road.
In a bid to give their followers more comfort, Fun Factory shifted to Hotel Africana poolside. They fell out with the Hotel management only a few months down the road. Earlier this year, Fun Factory got a new home at Plaza Cinema building. The 800-seater venue consists of comfy sitting, a theatre-setting which guarantees a good view for everyone in the audience.
This weekend, Fun Factory will be launching their new home to the public. The comedy outfit will stage shows for three days starting tomorrow (Saturday) till Easter Monday. According to Fun Factory publicist Richard Tuwangye, “The two-hour shows will feature surprise music performances and guest actors.”
Gates will open at 6pm but the shows will start at 7pm.
