In this 2012 flick Rob (Joey Lawrence) in a bid to fulfil his dying grandmother’s wish of meeting his girlfriend before she dies, takes to the Internet and hooks up with Julie (Emily Hampshire). Julie is also on a similar mission. Their plan is to separate after New Year’s celebrations. But before then they have lots of lying to do. It is draining.
Generally, there is nothing about this movie to write home about. The plot is cliché. You would think the director came up with it after watching a couple of other related movies. The only thing watching this will do is put you in Christmas mood. That always cheers up people so it might be worth it. But if you want both mood and enjoyment, try Love Actually and This Christmas.
