Former Swangz Avenue artist Zulanda returned to the spotlight in a big way over the weekend, hosting his long-awaited Foza (Friends of Zulanda) Concert at Motiv in Kampala. With fans and fellow artists in full attendance, the night was nothing short of electric.
Taking the stage with soulful energy, Zulanda serenaded the crowd with fan favorites like “Mukwano Gwo,” “Love Danger,” “Mujaasi,” and “Siddamu Kunywa.” The audience soaked up every note, cheering the singer who has long been admired for his songwriting and musical finesse.
But Zulanda wasn’t the only one who brought the fire.
The night also featured a stellar lineup of artists, many from the Zhafar agency. Rising stars like Vicky Banks, known for her powerhouse vocals, and Sheem, with her unique, genre-blending sound, had the crowd swaying. Doorkey delivered a deeply memorable set, while Chozen Blood kept the energy alive with his signature smooth vibe.
Yet it was Beenie Gunter who arguably stole the show. His powerful performance lit up the venue, especially when he launched into his crowd-favorite hit, “Bali Abayaye Tubasobola.” Fans roared, dancing and chanting every word.
“I am thankful for the incredible support from the fans. The energy from the crowd was phenomenal,” Beenie said after his set. “Performing at the Foza Concert was an unforgettable experience, and I’m proud to represent our agency alongside such talented artists.”
And then came Elijah Kitaka—no introduction needed. From the moment he walked on stage, dressed to impress, he had the audience on their feet. Performing tracks like “Dawa,” “Nothing,” “Tutu Mama,” and “Ekyange,” Elijah brought charisma, vocals, and that signature Kitaka energy.
The Foza Concert wasn’t just a celebration of Zulanda—it was a vibrant showcase of Uganda’s evolving music scene. A night full of love, music, and authentic connections between artists and their fans.
