In a spectacular launch event held at Onomo Hotel in Nakasero, beer enthusiasts, media, and industry stakeholders gathered to witness the return of a once-popular brew.

On the unveiling of Charman’s ESB, guests got into an interactive tasting session, where they got chance to savour the beer that returns with the tagline ‘Make Way for the Chairman’.

The Nile Breweries Limited managing director, Adu Rando, expressed the company’s excitement about bringing the iconic beer back, saying, “Chairman’s ESB resonates with Ugandans who take charge of their lives. After receiving numerous requests and conducting market research, it was clear that the demand for this aspirational beer is high.”

Eric Malinga, the brand manager, added: “Chairman’s ESB is not just a strong beer, it is a statement of power and success, crafted with the finest ingredients for a bold yet smooth experience.”

Hosted by Richard Tuwangye, the event also featured music and networking for guests.
