The fourth edition of the Ndeku Nyama Choma Festival is set to take place from April 11 – 13, at Nyungu Yamawe in Bulindo, offering a vibrant celebration of African heritage, music, food, and cultural diversity.

The announcement was made during an exciting cook-off event between influencers Albert Katuruguma and The Mith, held at Shisa Nyama Village in Bugoloobi. The event drew attendance from media and influencers, generating excitement for the upcoming festival.

Sponsored by Uganda Waragi, the Ndeku Nyama Choma Festival is a beloved cultural platform that unites meat lovers with a fusion of roasted meats, live music, and drinks. This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Diversity, Taste of Africa, and African Rhymes,” promising a truly immersive experience that will showcase the richness of African culture through performances from top Ugandan music sensations such as Tracy Melon, Fyno, and others.

Hillary Baguma, Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries, emphasized the sponsorship’s alignment with the festival’s core values. “Uganda Waragi has been central at key moments of celebration within the Ugandan entertainment scene. As the spirit that binds us, the Ndeku Nyama Choma Festival is the perfect platform to unite our consumers in the true essence of celebration, culture, and connection,” he said.

Festival organizers expressed their enthusiasm about the upcoming event and the value of their partnerships. “This partnership enables us to create an even richer experience for festival-goers, making this edition the most exciting one yet,” said Akankwasa Junior, the festival organizer. “The festival stands for celebrating our African heritage, bringing people together, and embracing the diversity of our cultures.”

One of the highlights of the festival will be its diverse lineup of live music performances, cultural showcases, and a variety of roasted delicacies. Festival-goers will enjoy refreshing beverages that complement the dynamic atmosphere, with Uganda Waragi’s signature lemon and ginger variant featured among the offerings.

The festival’s official launch was marked by a house music takeover from DJ Chapat and Kamali, while Che Che music sensation Fhyno and Emma Frost serenaded the crowd with popular Ugandan hits. With the support of key brands and influencers, the Ndeku Nyama Choma Festival is shaping up to be a celebration of culture, food, and entertainment, offering a unique experience for all attendees.
