Musician A Pass is not the kind of artiste who explains his songs. You have to enjoy them the way they are or don’t, but a question was put to him recently about how one of his greatest hits came about.

A fan randomly asked what he was thinking when he composed the Dididada song, and his reply will shock you.

A Pass revealed that the song was coined out of the Ice cream bikes which he borrowed for his hook.

“The ice cream bikes that always showed up on sports day at Nakasero primary school. They always played a memorable beat that you would always remember (no words), so I tried to do that for the hook. You diiii Dada da, DiiDii Didi Dada da,” he replied.

“Didadada” was released in 2018 and produced by Herbert Skillz. It comes off his album titled African Yayo , and just like his fans, he also ranks the song as one of his best songs.
