As you read this, Nigerian artiste Burna Boy will be taking the stage in Nairobi, Kenya later today. And of course, we cannot forget that a few days before all this, the spotlight was on Kigali where John Legend, an EGOT winner was performing.
In fact, for the past years, Kigali has mastered the art of attracting the region to themselves thanks to unique curation of art, conferences and sports events that invite the continent to the country.
From comedian Dave Chappelle to rapper Kendrick Lamar performing in Kigali to their BK Arena to basketball tournaments, Kigali may have become one of the busiest African cities of late.

While in an exchange on social media, musician and music curator, Tshaka Mayanja noted that Ugandans are some of the biggest supporters of local artistes in Africa; he says many artistes in Uganda can host concerts even with little to offer but the public is willing to show up for them.
