Pastor Ssempa asks Alien Skin to apologize over ‘mocking’ Jesus

Since last Friday when musician Alien Skin held his concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala social media has been buzzing, with many commentators questioning the motive behind his stage entry which allegedly seemed to mock Christian faith.

In videos and pictures that have been doing rounds on social media, the self-claimed unruly musician, real name Patrick Mulwana is propelled on stage reenacting Jesus Christ’s crucifixion as he openly smokes marijuana.

The Sitya Danger singer’s actions sparked outrage among netizens, with many accusing him of blasphemy.

“We are extremely offended as religious leaders and we are asking Mr Patrick Mulwana who is also known as Alien Skin to come out and apologize to all Christians and to all religious people,” said pastor Martin Ssempa in a video clip.

Pastor Ssempa also added that Jesus did not die on the cross smoking marijuana and that it is a confusion of the highest order.

“Jesus was not a Kimenke. The Holy Spirit is not the spirit of marijuana. That is confusion of the highest order,” he added.

Pastor Ssempa says Alien Skin has seven days to apologise.

Alien Skin has in the recent past become a subject of controversy given his public conduct.

In less than two years, he and his gang have been accused of theft of smartphone and money on the streets, assaulting medical staff, assaulting revelers at Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s end of year fete, popularly known as Enkuuka before he was involved in a violent confrontation with fellow musician, Pius Mayanja, alias Pallaso.
