Deedan Muyira is a household name when it comes to emceeing. She will give any occasion the justice it deserves every time she is on the mic. Her experience and expertise has seen her preside over some of the big stages, including Blankets and Wine. She would have added the Trace Awards city tour last week at Noni Vie to the list of those other big stages had it not been some people who sabotaged her moment.
We learnt that Deedan was approached to be the emcee of the Trace Awards Uganda city tour a day before the event but, on D-day, someone called and told her she was off and that they had a replacement. On getting to the venue, Deedan found she had been replaced by actress Harmony Kyomugisha Muhwezi.
