I’m musically better than Bobi, Bebe and Chameleone, says A Pass

A Pass

Musician Alexander Bagonza aka A Pass is staging his first concert on January 31 at Kampala Serena Hotel but during a press conference on Monday, he had some interesting remarks.

According to the Gamululu artist, none of the top artists who have long been considered Uganda’s top three can stand where he is.
“I respect Chameleon, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine, but none of them can do what I do. That is the truth. I am on a different level. When it comes to lyrics and art. I am the artist,” A Pass said.

However, A Pass acknowledged the three artists for their “mentorship and invaluable guidance.”
“I have learned so much from so many artists in Uganda. Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool, Messach and Sylver Kyagulanyi among others who have given me a chance to also be part of this music industry,” he added.

A Pass spoke about his journey from when he started out at buddies, sleeping in a pantry suggesting that the hustles kept him hardworking.
“The journey has been crazy. I started in a very small studio, the size of a kitchen, in 2013. But with all the hard work I put in and my humility, I was destined for greatness,” A Pass shared.

Talking about greatness, he also highlighted that his first ever concert will have Fenon Events and a foreign sound engineer in charge of production at the event sponsored by I&M Bank.

What do you think of A Pass saying he is better than Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Jose Chamelone?
