Messe Bontwe to be laid to rest Monday

The body of the late Nicholas Mpiirwe alias Messe Bontwe is en route to Uganda for its final send-off.
This news was posted by Grace Sekamate, a former friend of the deceased. Sekamate who is a former Eagle Production’s member was also the one who broke the news of the passing of Messe Bontwe last year.
“We are here to let you know that our brother’s body Nicholas Mpiirwe well known as Messe Bontwe has today Jan/14th /2025 left the United States of America. Nicholas’s Body will arrive in Uganda on 16th January 2025, and he will be handed over to the Executive Funeral Services and the family,” Sekamate posted on his Facebook page.

Sekamate also added that Messe’s body will proceed to the funeral home, where it will spend a night, and on 17th January 2025 (Friday), will head to Munyonyo Church of Uganda for service and then head to his Home in Kabuuma.
He further added that on the 18th January 2025, Nicholas’s Body will head to National Theatre, where his friends in the art fraternity will view him and from there his body will proceed to his final destination at his ancestral home in Rwampala on Sunday before it will be rested on Monday 20th January 2025 at 2:00 PM.
Nicholas Mpiirwe, one of the founders of Amarula Family passed on 12th December 2024 from USA from a presumed heart attack.
