Hosted by Malembe and powered by Don Julio Tequila, the party, rightfully dubbed ‘The Countdown with Mexico’s Finest Tequila’, was an evening filled with energy and excitement from partygoers during the ushering in of 2025.
The blue-and-white-themed party brought Kampala’s premium party enthusiasts together for an incredible night.

Lasting three minutes, the spectacle was a sight to behold, as revellers hugged, screamed, toasted, clicked their glasses, revelling in the spirit of the cheerful moment as they wished each other a happy and prosperous 2025. Inside Guvnor, a line up of some of Kampala’s best DJs took turns to ensure the energy remained electric throughout the night.
The DJ all-star showcase had DJ Anselm kick things off, before Etania, the self-proclaimed Life of the party, took over with her signature Amapiano hype. Her set was a little different as she abandoned the decks on a number of occasions and went to the dancefloor to pull off some Amapiano dance strokes before resuming with her mixes.
DJ Kasbaby and DJ Bryan followed, each delivering riveting sets that had the crowd craving more. Then came DJ Alza who left no crumbs, as he delivered a very satisfyingly wholesome musical journey that ushered everyone into the New Year.
The night’s host, Timothy Code also lived up to his reputation, hyping up the crowd with his charm and wit throughout the whole night’s experience.
