Omulangira Suuna’s Wealth Creation song trashed

Omulangira Suuna aka OS Suna

Ugandan singer and song writer Omulangira Suuna has been the centre of attention today after he was embarrassed in Gulu yesterday evening.

The musician, real name, Emmanuel Suuna, who’s behind songs like Nakudatta alongside Goodlyf, Tewali Mbera and Oli Perfect faced the wrath of the Chief Coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC), Salim Saleh after his performance in Gulu.

Suuna tried to impress President Museveni’s younger brother by performing an Operation Wealth Creation song but it didn’t end well for him.

“General, I love you so much. This song I am going to sing is about wealth creation. This is among the songs that I have on this matter,” Suuna said before the song was played.

The general, born Caleb Akandwanaho, could not even wait for the song to end when he asked for a microphone to make his verdict.

“Musicians have failed to make music; they can’t even make good music. The truth is, you have sung nothing,” Gen Saleh said amid cheers from the crowd.

He then asked the deejay if he had other wealth-creation songs that OS could perhaps pick a leaf from but it seemed the Deejay did not have any.

Suuna gently handed over the microphone, walked away from the open space where he had performed, picked a chair, and sat right next to the deejay as normal programme resumed.

Omulangira Suuna’s moment of betrayal came immediately after Gen Saleh had expressed his frustration with Ugandan musicians over their frequent visits to his home in Gulu for handouts ahead of Christmas.
