The 14th edition of Bakiga Nation was nothing short of remarkable on Sunday as Maddox Sematimba, Omega 256, Ambroy and Lift Jesus Choir brought their A-game, delivering electrifying performances that left the audience on their feet.

Their soulful music and high-energy hits had fans on their feet all night, enjoying every moment with their favourite drinks, Pilsner Lager and Pilsner King, in hand.

Maddox’s performance was a bit of nostalgia as songs like Namagembe, Irene, Omwami Nomukyala and Easy took revellers down memory lane as they sang and danced along to his ever-green hits.

With doors opening by midday at the Indian Association Grounds Lugogo, the event was by every bit spectacular. From the dress code, the offers at hand, the action on stage and the energy from the audience. It was like a gate-together sort of event.

The experience was elevated with a cultural village that offered attendees a taste of their heritage. From traditional Bushera, Arts and crafts were all set up to celebrate the rich culture of the Bakiga.

This year’s Bakiga Nation was a vibrant mix of culture, music, and community, bringing people together in an unforgettable way.
