The debut Captain Morgan Spice Takeover in Uganda delivered an electrifying blend of spice, music, and vibrant entertainment. Jamaican dancehall artist Kranium headlined the event, captivating fans with hits like “Gal Policy”, “Nobody Has to Know”, “Can’t Believe”, and “Last Night” keeping the crowd on their feet. The event also featured high-energy music mixes from top DJs like Melvyn Dj, Dj Ssese, Kash Pro, Dj Bugy, Alza, and Lynda Ddane, as well as surprise dance performances from DMC dance crew and Ink Dancers, who showcased a fusion of Amapiano, Afro-beats, and hip-hop.
A key highlight of the night was the unveiling of Captain Morgan’s new spiced look, accompanied by a performance from the H2C dance crew. Brand Manager Judie Nandekya expressed that the Spice Takeover is designed to immerse consumers in the world of Captain Morgan through unique experiences that inspire creativity and individuality.
From the moment attendees entered through a Captain Morgan-themed tunnel, they were greeted with brandanas, cocktails, and mouthwatering bites. The venue also provided free water at all cocktail points, promoting responsible consumption.
Revellers enjoyed themed photo booths, stylish kitenge outfits, and a red-themed food court. This debut event not only introduced the Captain Morgan Spice On campaign to Uganda but also set new standards in entertainment with its remarkable production, accessible drinks, and engaging activities.
