The much-anticipated video for Warafiki, the rising stars from Fenon Records, has finally been released, and it’s safe to say that the execution is flawless.
Directed by Edrine Paul, the visuals were shot across three vibrant locations: Tales Bar in Bukoto, Clamato Bar and Restaurant, and Patrick’s Warehouse in Busabala. Each setting adds a unique flavor to the video, complementing the song’s themes perfectly.
The video is a colorful feast for the eyes, featuring the trio of Tori, Eyla, and Treezy dressed in stylish, two-piece outfits. Their costumes, designed by Campala Costume with input from their management, enhance the video’s message by reflecting the song’s lively yet meaningful tone.
The visuals do more than just entertain; they bring the essence of the track to life. Set in lively hangout spots, the video captures the spirit of the song, amplifying its message about love, financial expectations, and modern relationships.
One of the standout moments in the video is the appearance of renowned producer Artin Pro, who plays a central character. In a humorous twist, Artin portrays a man who appears wealthy and ready to spend on the trio, but in reality, lacks the funds to meet their desires. The story takes a comedic turn when he leaves them stranded at a bar without settling the bill, forcing the girls to do chores as a penalty.
The video’s styling, camera work, and angles are on point, making “No Money No Love” a visual masterpiece. The artistic direction adds depth to the song’s message. This latest release from Warafiki marks a shift from their previous projects, offering a more upbeat, dance-worthy track while continuing to deliver thought-provoking commentary on relationships. “No Money, No Love” is poised to resonate with fans and new listeners alike.
