Love and Lace chosen to dress the bride and entourage for The Big Wedding

Capital FM has once again set the stage for an unforgettable wedding experience with the launch of the third edition of The Big Wedding, a campaign designed to turn one couple’s dream wedding into reality. This year’s highly anticipated launch took place at the stunning Speke Resort Munyonyo, setting a picturesque backdrop for what promises to be an extraordinary celebration.

The campaign will be hosted by the dynamic morning show duo Lucky Mbabazi and Gaetano Kaggwa, who will keep listeners entertained and engaged throughout the competition. Their charisma is sure to enhance the excitement surrounding this year’s event.

As with previous editions, this year’s competition includes a special feature: one designer will dress the bride and her entourage. Love and Lace Bridal Emporium has been chosen for this important role. Sheila Tusiime, CEO of Love and Lace Bridal, expressed her enthusiasm about being part of the campaign.

“I like to give back to the community because I believe in reaching out to people,” Tusiime shared. “You never know how these connections can impact you or your business. We grow by supporting each other, and this wedding ushers us into the Christmas season—a time for joy and sharing happiness.”

As a bridal specialist and NBS news anchor, Tusiime emphasized the significance of this collaboration, feeling honored to be selected among numerous bridal stores in the country. “Love and Lace started in April 2023, but we’ve already been blessed with many opportunities. There are bridal shops that have been around for ten years or more, yet we were chosen,” she reflected with gratitude.

Tusiime’s passion for both journalism and bridal design stems from her love of variety and unpredictability. “One of the reasons I joined journalism is because the newsroom is different every single day. That same sense of excitement drives me in this bridal business. I don’t know who the bride and her entourage will be, which makes the process exhilarating,” she explained.

Initially focusing on traditional outfits for brides, Love and Lace has since expanded to include stunning gowns, marking a significant achievement for Tusiime and her team.

The grand event, scheduled for November, promises to be filled with excitement, joy, and unforgettable memories for the winning couple and everyone involved. As the countdown begins, the anticipation grows for what is sure to be a magical celebration.
