Legendary Kadongokamu singer Lord Fred Ssebatta has decided that it is time for him to join the concert wave happening lately.
The artiste whose music spans more than four decades will celebrate 40 years in the music business with a concert.
The event scheduled on December 13 at Serena Hotel will be produced by Fenon Events.
Ssebatta is an experienced, lyrically, instrumentally, and vocally gifted artist and the founder of one of Uganda’s ever biggest Kadongo Kamu band groups ‘Matendo Band’ with about 20 albums to his name.
His first album, Sam Wange, was released in 1981 and featured the hit song of the same name, which he sang with his fiancé Nabigumira. Some of his other songs include; Aba Africa, Okufumbiza Omwana, Doole Y’omwana, Nabawanuka, Bamulya Asooka, Ogwembuga, Obugenyi, Nsasila Abawasa, Jangu and Ndi Mwenyinyaze, among others.
