The BlackRoots Academy of Soul Band brought Kampala Serena Hotel down during Stanbic Bank’s private client’s fine dining experience on Thursday night, captivating an audience of esteemed clients and guests with their electrifying performance.
Dressed in stylish outfits that echoed the soul and funk eras, the band delivered a powerful mix of classic hits and original compositions.
Highlighting their versatility, the band seamlessly transitioned from upbeat anthems to soulful ballads, showcasing their impressive range and talent.
The event kicked off at 5:30om with a red-carpet session hosted by Angel Kabeera, who poured her soothing voice, performing popular RnB and reggae songs as guests enjoyed customisedcocktails.
At 7pm, the smartly-dressed affluent and executive clients transitioned into the famous Victoria Hall, which was brightly decorted with mobile screens mounted on the walkway, before transitioning into the candlelit-decorated dinner tables.
Seasoned media personalities Mitch Egwang and Crystal Newman were the evening’s hosts who gave the house a taste of elegant vibes as they invited the bank representative to officially flag off the long-awaited pinnacle experience.
Sam Mwogeza, the Stanbic Bank executive director, w emphasised the bank’s commitment to being a trusted partner in fostering economic growth, client engagement, and wealth creation.
Shortly after, guests were treated to a four-course meal.
The event concluded with a raffle draw, where some guests walked away with customised gifts from the bank’s partners.
