Artistes from Western Uganda have commended music promoter Dan Mvp, real man Dan Nayebare for the contribution he has made in uplifting western Uganda art industry.
Addressing journalists in preparation for the Dan Mvp 12 years of experience show that’s set to happen at Soho Terace, Kandle a member of the Kateleya and Kandle duo commended Dan Mvp for believing in them ever since they hit the music.
“Mvp is influential in this industry. We have a reason to support him. Since we started singing, he’s the one person that has been encouraging us to keep pushing. Being at his show is the best thing we can do. We are excited to be back in Mbarara and we just hope for the best,” Kandle said.
CataVybz of the Lau Wyne and Cata Vybz duo noted that Mvp has been a strong pillar in their music career.
“Mvp brought us from nowhere and here we are. He got us from scratch, and to fellow musicians, thank you for working together to promote and develop our industry,” he said.
“I used to think he is against the industry until when I understood the game. The people who were around me were not believing in me but Dan encouraged me to keep pushing from my first song but here we are,” Producer JayKayz said.
Mvp said he fronted females to dominate the night to show the world that females can also thrive in the art game.
“I have been promoting male artists but I said this time round I need to find a different approach that will take me to the next generation. I said let me push the female gender amidst challenges they pass through. This is basically to show the world that even women can thrive in this entertainment game,” he said.
