Allan Toniks’ ‘My Journey’ concert postponed

The highly anticipated ‘My Journey’ concert by Ugandan R&B sensation Allan Toniks, which was originally scheduled to take place this weekend at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, has been postponed. The concert will now be held at a later date in a new and upgraded venue, offering fans an even more premium experience.

In an official statement released across his social media platforms, Toniks cited the need for an upgrade as the primary reason for the change in plans. He reassured fans that the shift was made with their comfort and enjoyment in mind.

“We are thrilled to announce that we are upgrading the experience for all our fans. We have moved the show to a more premium and indoor space at the Serena Hotel Kampala for an excellent experience,” the statement read.

The concert, which was set to showcase Toniks’ musical journey, will now take place on November 3, 2024. Most importantly, fans who had already purchased tickets for the initial date need not worry as all previously bought tickets remain valid for the new date.

This postponement has only added to the excitement surrounding the event, with fans eagerly awaiting an unforgettable night of soulful R&B, Afro-pop tunes, and top-tier performances from the multi-talented artist.

Allan Toniks, whose real name is Allan Ampaire, is renowned for his smooth vocals and versatile artistry. He has made a significant impact on the Ugandan music scene as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Some of his most popular tracks include “My Miss,” “Mulamwa,” “Ningyenda Yoona,” “Beera Nange,” “Romance,” “Sunday,” “Baby Language,” and the timeless hit “That Girl”. His diverse discography continues to captivate audiences both in Uganda and across Africa.

Fans can expect the upcoming concert to be a reflection of his incredible journey in the music industry, complete with live performances of his greatest hits and perhaps a sneak peek into his new projects. With the concert now set in the luxurious Serena Hotel, attendees can look forward to an intimate and immersive musical experience, accompanied by top-notch production.

Stay tuned for more updates as Toniks gears up to make November 3, a night to remember!
