‘The Big Wedding’ lucky couple to win a fully paid trip to Dubai

Lucky Mbabazi speaks during the launch at Speke Resort Munyonyo

After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘The Big Wedding’ is making a triumphant return for its highly anticipated 8th edition. This year, the winning couple will not only receive a fully sponsored wedding but will also enjoy a luxurious honeymoon in Dubai, thanks to the generous support of Rwanda Air.

The exciting promotion, organized by Capital FM, was launched at the picturesque Speke Resort Munyonyo. The initiative aims to encourage couples to share their love stories with the world while also inspiring those planning to tie the knot. “We want to celebrate love in all its forms and inspire others to embark on their own journeys,” said a spokesperson from Capital FM.

Couples interested in participating are invited to apply by submitting their stories and explaining why they should be chosen for this unique opportunity. According to Ronald Muhereza, Sales Manager at Capital Radio, applicants must provide honest and heartfelt accounts of their relationships. Additionally, they are required to include a two-minute video showcasing their love story. The deadline for submissions is October 13.

The selection process will involve listener engagement, as qualification will be determined by votes from the audience. After the initial submission phase, ten couples will be shortlisted for the next stage. A second round of voting will take place to identify the top five finalists. The final round of voting will occur from October 25 to 27, culminating in the announcement of the winning couple on October 28.

In an exciting twist, the grand celebration will continue with a special Kasiki event for the winning couple on November 19, leading up to the main event—the Big Wedding—scheduled for November 22 at Speke Resort Munyonyo. This promises to be a spectacular occasion filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories.

As the promotion unfolds, couples across the region are gearing up to share their unique stories, eager for a chance at a dream wedding and the adventure of a lifetime in Dubai. With the return of ‘The Big Wedding,’ Capital FM is once again at the forefront of celebrating love, community, and the beauty of commitment.
