Preparations for the upcoming Madrat and Chiko comedy show, set for October 8 at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, are in full swing, especially after Speaker Anita Among pledged her support for the event.
The comedians were invited to the Speaker’s office, where they shared insightful ideas and proposals aimed at enhancing Uganda’s rapidly growing performing arts sector. According to a reliable source from the Speaker’s office, Among assured the duo of Parliament’s backing and expressed her commitment to supporting their anniversary show, which is proudly sponsored by Talent Africa Group.
This anniversary event marks 10 years of Madrat and Chiko’s contribution to the Ugandan comedy scene. As part of the 5th season of Nseko Buseko, the show will celebrate the duo’s journey, featuring a night filled with hilarious performances and special guest appearances that highlight the richness of Ugandan comedy.
Madrat and Chiko’s 10th-anniversary show promises to be an unforgettable night of laughter. Following the Kampala performance, the duo will take their comedy tour to other parts of Uganda. They are scheduled to perform at Colline Hotel in Mukono on October 12, Maria Flo in Masaka on October 19, and Adit Mall in Mbarara, ensuring that their anniversary celebration reaches fans across the country.
