Nathan Magoola and Lucky Lora Atwine are the only Ugandans who have been selected to participate in the Series Lab where participants will work on developing their TV series under the supervision and guidance of industry professionals.
Switch, a movie that Magoola produced and wrote with Atwine has been selected alongside Saria Othman Needs No Man by Estephan Khattar and Hiba Louis from Lebanon, Nithin Lukose and Hari Krishnan’s Cold Case-one from India as well as Karan Kabir and Nitin Koul’s Shani Bazaar also from India. The other representative from East Africa is Generation A from Kenya’s Mona Ombogo and Louise Kamwagi.
The talented participants will embark on a journey to develop their own TV series pilot, under the mentorship and guidance of renowned mentors, episodic creators and industry leaders.
