How do you hook a viewer? Well, you get the main character to get submerged in water with only the head above the surface. This intro raises one’s expectations into the Maria video. But it seems the director didn’t plan to progress beyond handing Vyroota some balloons to raise while in the water.
This is a concept that could purely have been developed around the water. But maybe again, a lone figure in the water could feel like some man going through a heartbreak. The video thus transitions to an indoor concept.
That indoor aesthetic is becoming commonplace, with a man acting all sassy and yet keeping off his object of attention. The woman casually dances next to the man. And the scenes go from the standing posture to a sitting posture. It’s become the usual love video default. And then we end with the man getting out of the lake. Fair video, but not bold in its concepts.
