What really matters? Is it nyash or the waist? Recho Rey has a visual response to Gloria Bugie. Thus, the video is nothing but a campaign for the waist. All the dances in the video are anchored around that waist. Twisting it, wiggling it, whining it, rolling it.
The first scenes are shot in monochrome colours. Me thought they were going to do the whole video in monochrome, for that would have given the video a distinct element. But no, Recho Rey could not go without some colour to herself.
From the colour scenes, we morph into the dungeon. Recho Rey is atop a car orchestrating the dance vibe for the rest of the crew on the ground. Overall, it is a fast-paced video, it will gear you into a dance mode. But hey, it is not exceptional. It’s not a showstopper, it’s the kind you press and say, ‘next.’
