The Villa celebrates second anniversary with electrifying performances

Bukoto’s nightlife hotspot, The Villa, marked its second anniversary in grand fashion, delivering an unforgettable celebration. Teaming up with Uganda Breweries Limited’s Don Julio Tequila, the event celebrated two years of creating cherished memories and exceptional fun experiences for Kampala’s vibrant social scene.

As patrons flocked to the venue, Don Julio brought a slice of Mexico to Bukoto, with a special menu featuring signature cocktails. Each drink was expertly crafted and served in stylish, Mexican-themed glasses. For those choosing shots, the experience was elevated with exclusive Don Julio shot glasses, adding a luxurious touch to every sip.

Simon Lapyem, Don Julio Brand Manager, captured the spirit of the night, stating: “The Villa is a cornerstone of Kampala’s nightlife, and we wanted to be part of this milestone with our unique Don Julio touch. It’s about celebrating with the people who make this city come alive, and we’re thrilled to have shared the experience with The Villa’s patrons.”

The night’s entertainment lineup was equally impressive. A dazzling fireworks display lit up Bukoto’s skyline, setting the tone for the celebration. Fem DJ took the reins afterward, spinning infectious beats that kept the crowd on their feet. The excitement reached new heights when Cindy, “The King Herself,” hit the stage, delivering an electrifying performance.

In a touching moment, Cindy paused her show to ensure her mother, who had accompanied her, found a comfortable spot in the packed venue to enjoy the performance. Once settled, Cindy launched into a string of her biggest hits, including “Boom Party,” “Ayokyayoka,” and “Selector,” leaving the crowd ecstatic.

A Pass kept the momentum going with a fiery set, surprising the audience by bringing Elijah Kitaka on stage. Together, they performed their hit remix of “Tippy Toe,” followed by Elijah’s popular track “Dawa,” which had the crowd singing along word for word.

The Villa once again demonstrated its ability to host an extraordinary event, combining great music, drinks, and atmosphere for an anniversary celebration that will be remembered for years.
