Silo 15 Lounge’s Daycation Brunch is fast becoming the new trendsetter for Sunday outings in Kampala. Yesterday’s edition (Sunday 29th) was proof of its growing popularity, with an impressive turnout and vibrant energy. Sponsored by Don Julio, the monthly event promises a perfect mix of music, food, and cocktails that keeps guests coming back for more.
Now in its third series, the Daycation Brunch delivered a day filled with laughter, great vibes, and memorable moments. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by an exquisite Mexican-themed setup, complete with beautifully decorated booths that served as ideal photo backdrops.
The highlight of the event was an electrifying three-hour performance by the Kampala Jazz Orchestra, dressed elegantly in all white. Their soulful tunes set the perfect mood for the day, as revellers danced and sang along to the music. Each note from the orchestra felt like a celebration, perfectly paired with generous servings of Don Julio cocktails on every table.
“The Daycation is giving our consumers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun before the Monday blues hit, and we’re thrilled to be part of this engaging experience. Throughout the afternoon, waitresses made sure everyone had a taste of the world’s most renowned tequila, with Don Julio shots flowing freely. Later in the day, popular host Sheila Salta amped up the energy with her infectious hyping, while Selector Jay took over from the jazz ensemble with a playlist that kept heads nodding and feet moving.
Latecomers indulged in a spread of mouth-watering brunch dishes, from cakes and sweet treats to savoury selections, as DJs Melvyn and Anselm took to the decks. The party carried on into the evening with guests dancing and catching the Premier League action on giant screens.
With the next Daycation Brunch scheduled for Sunday, October 27th, the excitement continues to build as each edition promises to be bigger and better than the last.
