Kenyan comedian Marcus Douglas, Maina Munene, and Tanzania’s Hamis Dee are set to make their debut in Uganda this weekend as guest performers at the popular Funny Bunny comedy show. The monthly event, hosted at Wombo Restaurant in Kampala, has become a hub for both local and regional comedy talent since its launch last year.
Hosted by Ugandan comedian Don Andre, the Funny Bunny show has featured top local comedians like Patrick Salvador, Agnes Akite, Emma Napoleone, Teacher Mpamire, Okello Okello, and Cotilda, among others. This time, the show is raising the bar with appearances from stand-up acts beyond Uganda’s borders.
In addition to the regional performers, Ugandan comedians Uncle Mark, Ronnie McVex, and Cotilda will entertain the audience, with Don Andre returning as the host. The show, scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, promises an exciting mix of local and international comedy. Tickets are available at Shs350,000 for a table of six and Shs20,000 for standard tickets.
