Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi alias Abitex has decided to take legal action against singer Gloria Bugie after the leakage of her recent video where she appears to be naked while dancing.
According to legal documents dated September 17, 2024, Abtex has requested the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to investigate the matter under the Computer Misuse Act and the Anti-Pornography Act. He also copied in the Ministry of Ethics and Integrity and Uganda Communications Commission.
He also claims that the Nyash artiste has been attending public events in extremely revealing outfits. The promoter further alleges that in her most recent misconduct, Gloria Bugie posted a nude video of herself online, which directly violates Section 2 of the Anti-Pornography Act.
Abitex is calling on authorities to take swift action, not only to penalize Gloria but to make her an example for others and that the intervention will deter similar behavior in the entertainment industry.
