Joanitah Ansiimire, a trader, has won UGX 2.5 million in the ongoing Laga Swagga campaign, alongside two other winners, Brian Bujingo, a humanitarian worker from Isingiro, and Kato Ali, a shopkeeper from Bulenga, who each took home UGX 500,000 from the first weekly raffle draw.

Hillary Baguma, the Brand Manager for Mainstream Spirits at UBL, handed over the prizes, describing the campaign as a gesture of appreciation for loyal customers.

“I am very excited to hand over these prizes. Laga Swagga is our way of giving back to those who have supported us over the years. This is more than just a promotion; it’s a celebration of life,” Baguma remarked during the event.

The Laga Swagga promotion is a three-month campaign offering cash prizes to consumers of select spirits. The campaign includes weekly cash rewards and raffle draws, with consumers encouraged to participate by purchasing specific products.

Baguma encouraged continued participation, emphasizing that substantial cash prizes remain to be won.

The promotion also stresses responsible drinking, with reminders for participants to hydrate and pace their drinks. The campaign is limited to individuals aged 18 and above.
