Last Saturday, Ykee Benda was one of the performers at the grand finale of Miss Uganda 2024/25 which happened at Sheraton Hotel Kampala but before the artiste took to the stage, there was an altercation between a member of his team and the security at the hotel.
Earlier reports had it that the singer did not want to take off his cap as requested by the security at the premises but when we contacted him, he said, one of the security personnel was drunk and inappropriately pulled a female member of his team.
“Police chap was drunk and pulled a female on my team badly. The boys lost it,” Ykee Benda told us.
He also confirmed that no punches were exchanged in the process as earlier reported.
