Maurice Kirya and vampino reunite in new single ‘Ebigambo’

After their 2016 collaboration on “Nyongera” and “Linda Linda“, brothers Maurice Kirya and Vampino have joined forces once again on a new track called “Ebigambo”. As teased on their social media, this song is a response to rumormongers and backbiters.

Ebigambo” (Words) is a soulful creation written and composed by Maurice Kirya, featuring Vampino. The song was produced by Maurice Kirya, with additional production and arrangement support from Samuel Bisaso. The track was mixed and mastered at Lipaka Studios in Germany.

Maurice Kirya not only sings and plays guitars but also showcases his production skills. Vampino lends his vocals to the bridge, while Samuel Bisaso contributes bass lines.

The melodic and uplifting song employs clever wordplay to convey a message of love prevailing against all odds, despite the traps of false assumptions. “Ebigambo” blends Maurice Kirya’s signature “mwooyo” genre with reggae and afro-pop elements, creating a unique and captivating sound.

The song is now available on all streaming platforms, and fans can expect more exciting collaborations from the talented brothers.
