PICTORIAL: Roast and Rhyme takes over Jinja City

Last weekend, the Roast and Rhyme Nyam on the Nile edition transformed Jinja city into a hub of entertainment, music, and fun. The event, sponsored by Bell Lager, Uganda Waragi Lemon and Ginger, and Smirnoff in partnership with Uganda Breweries Limited, offered a unique experience for revelers.

Held at the new location, Across the Nile Resort, the event featured top-notch entertainment, live music, savory nyama choma, and a spirits village. For the first time in Uganda, Bell Lager introduced its citrus consumer experience, offering a free zesty Bell to attendees and discounted beer during happy hour.

According to Justin Agaba, the acting brand manager for UBL Bell Lager, “Our goal is to create memorable experiences for our consumers. We curated a comprehensive entertainment package, including a new zesty experience that will be a hallmark of future events.”

The night featured live music performances by Maestro band, Chosen Blood, Double black, Vinka, and the B2C soldiers. The 3-day getaway included a night in the woods party experience with top DJs at Living Waters Resort, the main event at Across the Nile Resort, and an all-white Sunday service brunch in partnership with Tanqueray Gin at Living Waters Resort.
