Last Saturday evening was a special one for rapper Daniel Kigozi, alias Navio, as he premiered two music at Club Lé Botti in a night of music celebration.
The event was an unparalleled success, drawing the who’s who of the city to experience an evening of top-tier entertainment and solidarity.
‘Utajua Hujui’, shot in Nairobi and directed by Tony Black Wolf, was the first video Navio premiered. It captivated the audience with its dynamic visuals and powerful storytelling. This was followed by the premiere of ‘Sunset Drift’ shot in Zanzibar by Mathilda Kigozi. The video mesmerized attendees with its stunning cinematography and evocative imagery.
After the premieres, the Hip Hop artist surprised the audience with a live performance, featuring songs like ‘Ngalo’, ‘Nawuliranga’, and ‘Gwe Nemuno’, among others. The performance was elevated when The Mith and Flex D’ Papper joined him on stage. The trio’s chemistry and dynamic performance left the crowd who were enjoying Hennessey the sponsors of the premiere in awe, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
The Double Video Release party not only showcased the artistry of Navio and his collaborators but also underscored the vibrant cultural scene in Kampala. Attendees left Lé Botti with a sense of pride and excitement for the future of Ugandan music.
