Juliana Kanyomozi and Dr Bbosa honoured

The Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Centre (MNFPAC) recently recognized Juliana Kanyomozi and Sam Bagenda (Dr. Bbosa) for their outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry. The two talented artists received Certificates in Music from MNFPAC, acknowledging their dedication and achievements.

Juliana Kanyomozi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Mariam Ndagire and MNFPAC, saying, “Thank you, Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Center, for this Honorary Award. I’m deeply humbled and emotional (a story for another time!) to be recognized in such a remarkable way by someone I’ve admired for so long, Omumbejja Mariam Ndagire. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she posted on her X.

Mariam Ndagire, the founder of MNFPAC, emphasized that honoring Juliana was long overdue. “With over 30 hit songs that have won numerous awards in Uganda, East Africa, Africa, and beyond, Juliana embodies talent and passion. We at MNFPAC believe this phenomenal vocalist truly deserves this recognition.”

The Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Centre provides training, mentorship, and resources for emerging filmmakers, aspiring filmmakers, and youth in Uganda, covering various aspects of film production, including screenwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, editing, sound recording, and acting.
