Ugandan artistes denied visas, London performance cancelled

Ugandan artists Lil Pazo, Karole Kasita, Khlaifa Aganaga, Feffe Busi, Fik Gaza, and Acidic Vokoz were scheduled to perform at the Summer Bash 2024 show on July 6 at the Royal Regency in London. However, the show has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

According to a statement by Frank Kivumbi, the organizer, the decision was made with regret and apologies to the Ugandan community in the UK.

Investigations revealed that the cancellation was due to the denial of visas to all artists except Khalifa Aganaga. Aganaga attributed the visa denial to his recent publicized incident with Fik Gaza, which led the visa authorities to mistakenly associate the other artists with the altercation.

Aganaga apologized for the incident and its consequences, including the financial loss to the promoter. Despite the cancellation, Aganaga promised to perform a solo show in London, stating, “It’s going to be a one-man show. The best of Khalifa in London. I have all the songs to take the crowd through the entire show.
