Producer Washington, real name David Ebangit, was at the centre of investigations following allegations of his involvement in the death of singer Mowzey Radio. Since then, he has been lying low and never really shared how these investigations affected him. However, during a recent interview on Sanyuka TV, one of the legendary Ugandan music producers revealed that he lost a lot after these allegations – financially and emotionally.
He said people stopped working with him after the allegations and he also lost a lot of favours.
“A lot of favours went away, I got a lot of financial problems which brought financial stress that led to other problems. I was stressed for about five years,” he revealed.
Washington, who was the lead producer for Goodlyfe, commended artistes such as Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Weasel, Bobi Wine and his family who helped him recover emotionally.
