Ugandan sound to the world

Musicians and instrumentalists Myko Ouma, Kenneth Mugabi, and Ssewa Ssewa are on a course to push Ugandan music to the next level through a partnership they have embarked on.

The trio is going to headline the Pride of the Pearl concert slated for July 7 at Sheraton, a concert aimed at showcasing the diverse tapestry of Uganda’s music traditions through captivating performances and soul-stirring melodies.

Speaking about this partnership, Myko Ouma said their local sounds and music are just not going to uplift the Ugandan music industry but also promote and preserve its culture. “With this collaboration, Ugandan music should be appreciated more because it showcases the country’s musical talents and heritage,” Ssewa Ssewa added.
