Over the weekend, the family and close friends of the late city tycoon and socialite Ivan Semwanga commemorated his life as they prayed for his soul. His ex-wife Zari Hassan in a social media post paid tribute to the socialite confessing how she will always love him.
“7 years seems like yesterday. May Allah continue resting you in peace. We will always love you,” Zari wrote.
In 2017, Ivan Ssemwanga tragically succumbed to a heart attack while being treated at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria, with his ex-wife Zari Hassan at his side. His final moments were on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
Zari Hassan was socialite Ivan Semwanga’s wife and baby mama and the two dated till his passing. They had three children together Pinto, Raphael, and Quincy.
Following Ivan’s demise, Zari embarked on a new chapter of her life. A year later, she legalized her relationship with the prominent Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
With Diamond Platnumz, she welcomed two children, Princess Tiffah Dangote and Prince Nillan, before their separation in 2018. Undeterred by challenges, Zari ventured into several relationships with different individuals, although they ultimately did not stand the test of time.
However, in 2023, Zari found solace in love once more, forming a lasting bond with Shakib Cham. The self-proclaimed “Bosslady” and Shakib tied the knot, and their union remains strong to this day. Zari Hassan’s heartfelt tribute serves as a reminder of the enduring love and cherished memories she holds for her late husband, Ivan Ssemwanga, while also highlighting the resilience and growth she has experienced throughout her journey.
